Creeping

Okay, maybe for most this post is a little premature since it is not even Halloween yet. But you have to give me a break since it already SNOWED here once! I mean not even just a dusting I had to get out my ice scraper and dust off the 1inch + of snow that had built up on my car. Just shows that winter is creeping up on us!

Winter Cravings

As you can see, I want everything in colors this year! I am loving that color is more in style this year for the colder months especially since they are so long here. It definitely makes those cold dark months feel a little more lively!

Also, I am obsessed with this song. You have probably already heard it, music is not really my "thing". Take a gander and let me know what you think!
Have a great Monday!

Last Day In London

I guess I took an impromptu break from blogging this week. I had a huge test and I guess sleeping between studying took over blogging! Sorry about that! Here are the last pictures from my trip to London! We went to see the few things we had not seen on our last day, and later went to see Singing in the Rain, which was amazing!
The double-decker buses are so funny to me but they are awesome. Just make sure to run down the stairs in time to get off though!
Westminster Abbey. I cannot explain to you how enormous this church is! It's so old too. It was closed when we went there but I would have loved to go inside.
The back of Westminster Abbey.

 Parliament Building

The Eye of London. Did not get to go on this but next trip!

The Farmers Market in Chelsea. Licorice, anyone?

Love Farmers markets!

What I wore: Dress: H&M Bag: Steven by Steve Madden Sweater: Halogen (old) Leggings: F21 Belt: F21 Scarf: H&M (recent, could not find online) Shoes: Target Sunglasses: Nordstrom BP Watch:Skagen Bracelets: F21J.Crew Factory

Also, while I was there I had the opportunity to go see two shows: Matilda and Singing in the Rain. They were both amazing. In Singing in the Rain it really did rain on stage and if you were in the first couple of rows, you were bound to get wet. Matilda was absolutely amazing, if you are in London anytime soon I highly recommend it.

The stage at Matilda.

I am sure you have seen enough of my trip to London so that is the last of it! Big thanks to my Grandparents for having me as their guest, love you!

I hope you have an amazing weekend!

The Tower

Another one of my favorite things that I did while I was in London was to go see the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge. The bridge is so pretty and it was really cool to learn the history of the Tower, since it is about 900 years old. This is also where the Crown Jewels are and they are pretty spectacular and very sparkly.

The White Tower

Entrance to the Crown Jewels. Can't take pictures so I guess you will have to just go there to see them yourself!

Walking across the Bridge

My tourist picture with the bridge. As my Grandpa would say: "To prove to the IRS that I was here". Too funny. Love you, Grandpa!

What I wore: Top: H&M Pants: T.J. Maxx Shoes: Target Bag: Steven By Steve Madden Sunglases: Nordstrom B.P. Watch: Skagen Bracelets: F21J.Crew Factory

I hope you are enjoying these posts from my trip and I hope you have an amazing weekend!
Any fun plans? Would love to hear!

Victoria and Albert

The Victoria and Albert Museum was definitely one of my favorites. It's such a gorgous facility and it is free admission except for the special exhibits. Can't beat that!

The outside of the Museum.

The special exhibit while we were there was ball gowns throughout the ages. It was really cool to see all of the dresses and they had some of the red carpet looks that different celebrities had worn recently. I loved this Chanel look on the left and this Balmain gown on the right. So pretty!
Starting on the 20th of October they are having a Hollywood Costume exhibit. I wish we were there to see that! They are going to have the dress that Dorothy wore in the Wizard of Oz, outfits from Titanic, Batman, Breakfast at Tiffany's. I wish I had gotten to see it but if you are going to be in London the next couple months, you should totally go see that! I'm sure it's going to be really cool.

This is what the entrance to the museum looks like.

What I wore: Top: Gap (old similar) Pants: J.Crew (old, similar) Jacket: Banana Republic (thrifted, similar) Bag: Steven by Steve Madden Scarf: h&m (couldn't find the same color but it is recent) Boots: Tom Joules Bracelets: F21, J.Crew Factory Watch: Skagen
(pardon my hair again)

The food halls in Harrods are AMAZING. It's gourmet food heaven for sure and all of the rooms are decorated differently.

It's Christmas world at Harrods. Makes me feel less guilty of busting out the christmas movies early.

Bond Street.

Selfridges. This was by far my favorite store while in London. If you are there, go! You will not be disappointed.

Happy Thursday!

I'm Baaackk

I hope you had a fabulous week last week! I know I did! London was so much fun. It's such a great city and I really enjoyed exploring it.
My second day there we ventured to the British Museum and on our way back home we stopped by Picadilly Circus and Buckingham Palace. Here's a few snaps from my trip!

The outside of the British Museum.
I loved the inside of this museum and it's free entry so if you are in London I highly recommend going there!

My first fish and chips.

Oh you know, just on my way to school.

Picadilly Circus. I would compare this to Times Square in New York and in my opinion there is no real reason to go there unless you want super touristy stuff.

 Buckingham Palace.

What I wore: Sweater: H&M Pants: J.Crew (old, similar) Shoes: Target Purse: Kate Spade (similar) Necklace: F21 Watch: Skagen (Also, the rain jacket that I wore is North Face and this one is similar and on sale!)

That night we also went to dinner at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea for my grandpa's 70th birthday. It was incredible. Definitely some of the best food I have had in my life.

I only took one picture while we were there because I did not want to be one of those people with their camera out the whole meal taking pictures of everything. Here is the one I did get a photo of: the lobster ravioli. It was to die for.

Sorry for the photo overload! I hope you are having a great week!
