Hello! Here are a few of my picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I think it's great for picking up some of the essentials for fall, and who doesn't love a sale? I'm especially drooling over that watch! Come back tomorrow for a delicious cookie recipe and have a great Tuesday!

It's no secret that I am obsessed with anything Nautical themed (refer back to this post). These are a few of my current favorite Nautical items (especially those rings!). I actually have one of those Sea Bags, they're made with recycled sails so they are really heavy duty and perfect for the pool. I used to be on the sailing team when I was in high school (before I moved to UT), so I got one with the #8 on it because it was my boat number. Love it! Hope you have a great Monday!

Loving Lately

Hello! I hope you are having a great week so far. I just wanted to share a few things that I have been loving lately.

The first two are products that I got to try in a Birchbox a few months back. It's really rare that I actually LOVE a product and would recommend it because I'm not much of a product junkie to begin with (which is why Birchbox is perfect, because I can try stuff and only if I love it do I actually buy it). Without further ado..

This stuff is AMAZING! I am always looking for a new moisturizer that I love and since I'm so pale and I burn easily, SPF is important to me. I also hate to smell like sunscreen so this is the best of both worlds. It's not greasy, doesn't dry out my skin, protects my skin from the sun, and smells great! #winning

This is another product that I would describe as AMAZING for lack of a better term. This is like all of my hair products in one. It protects, makes my hair super shiny, repairs, conditions and it smells good too. I used to use both a Revlon Heat Protectant and a Pureology Shine Treatment and now this is the only product I need. It's sold exclusively through Birchbox and I HIGHLY recommend it. If you're like me and want the least amount of steps and products for your hair, this one is for you!

This dress for my cousins wedding in August. What do you think?

This Video:
(that I found via Grace, and her blog should be on this list. Her blog is definitely a good one, check it.) I definitely suffer from this. Glad someone else can relate.

I'm going to Las Vegas at the end of the month for the first time. I have only ever driven through it so I am pretty excited! Any recommendations of what to do/where to eat, etc are appreciated!
This ice cream, salted caramel pretzel. I'll leave it at that.
 Happy Wednesday! Thanks for reading!

During the Break

In my last post I was talking about all the free time I had. That quickly ended! I have been running around for the past few weeks and have not had regular internet access so updating the blog has been a bit of a challenge. Here are a few glimpses of what I have been up to in between eating way too much ice cream and watching Pretty Little Liars.
The Living Traditions Festival is one of my favorites that Salt Lake hosts every year in the middle of May (late, I know). There is music, food from all over the world, dancing and the weather is just right.
Pupusa! This is my favorite thing to get at Living Traditions. It's kind of like a quesadilla but the outside is more doughy and they are filled with beans, cheese, meat, or a combination of all of those things.
Kind of my favorite person to hang out with on weekends.
Days spent with my dog, aka the destroyer of soccer balls. He's the worst at playing fetch though unfortunately. It's more of I throw it and he kind of looks at me like "yeah, you threw it now go get it."
Loving my Mom's flower pots.
Finally got to try the new Taco Bar in Salt Lake. Taqueria 27. It's amazing if you have not been yet. They have a few different types of guacamole and a whole wall of different types of tequila to choose from, which is enough of a reason to go.
My very first Utah friend came back into town after 4 years of not seeing each other. Miss you Jess!!

Walking through the Chalk Festival on the way to the Farmers Market.

Pretty plants and the Off The Grid Smoothie Stand at the Farmers Market. The guy pedaling is taking orders while riding the bike that is powering the blenders. I love innovative stuff like this!

Sorry for the Hiatus (again). Things are finally calming down and I have a lot of fun things planned for July that I can't wait to share with you!
Thanks for reading!
