A Last Day in Soho

The day before we left the city we decided to head down to Soho and just wander around. This was probably one of my favorite days on our trip. There is just a certain charm about this part of the city.
We started off with an amazing brunch at Balthazar. Seriously soo so good and the restaurant is so charming.
I loved the bar and those gorgeous flowers walking in.
 Mmm those waffles.
Everyone else enjoying Balthazar as well.
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw my pictures of amazing desserts from Francois Payard. When my grandparents lived in the city we would always go to Payard to get treats and it was always one of my favorite parts of the city. Unfortunately, the original location no longer exists but there are many other locations all over the city. I highly recommend it! Francois makes amazing food and desserts and holds very special memories to me.
Wandering around Washington Square Park.
What I wore:
Top: Joie (also love this sweater for summer) Jeans: BDG  (Urban Outfitters) Shoes: TOMS (perfect walking shoe) Bag: Kate Spade Sunglasses: Target

Then down to Union Square to go to Forbidden Planet which is a super nerdy store that has comic books, action figurines, etc. Perfect for Brady. Luckily it was right next to the Strand Bookstore.
Then down to the Flatiron district for Madison Square Eats!
Empire State/ mmm Mister Softee
I was so excited that Madison Square Eats was going on while we were in NYC. Unfortunately the Momfuku Milk Bar was all out of their compost cookies but maybe next time!
How cute are the Marimekko umbrellas?
I chose tacos from Calexico, good choice!
Mm Laduree Macarons are prettyyy good I guess. I have been to the one in Paris, London, and New York now. All delicious.

One last photo from our journey to Top of the Rock.

I hope you are having a great week. That's the last of my NYC photos (aren't you relieved?). We had so much fun and I can't wait until I get the chance to go back.
Thanks for reading! xo
